Hello, everyone!

Alright, so. I'm not going to apologize. I've promised myself at least that. Look, I know those of you who are fanfiction writers will understand. LIFE and everything that comes with it must come first, above all. For me, that includes university (classes and clubs), family, friends, and church! Besides all this, I am studying to be a creative writer, that means I also need time to write my own original works. I know it's hard to wait for fanfics, trust me, I've been there. But, I can't set everything else in my life aside for this. So I'm not going to apologize. Because, as much as I do this for all of you to read, I do it for myself! It's FUN! And I really enjoy writing about my favorite characters! Okay. I just had to get that off my chest!

But that's not the point of this thing, right?

The point is! I've started my new second addition to my favorite fanfic of all time-my WWII fanfic! So, here's the prologue for those of you that might still be interested in reading this. After I get my essay and short story done for two of my classes I'm sure I'll be able to get cracking on that first chapter!

Thank you all, for your patience!

What was better than Midgard- the realm plagued by war, disease, hunger, and other countless sins? Loki couldn't possibly imagine. He had often come down to the realm to laugh at the puny residents and to trick them and mock them. He enjoyed watching their little games of conquering one another. Then, wonder of all wonders, Loki's perfect brother, Thor, became one of them.

What is better than Midgard- with all its faults? He watched as his father took all the power from his arrogant brother and sent him down to that realm and Loki's heart filled with glee. Oh, how fun would this be to watch! Thor, a mortal? Arrogant, selfish Thor! No longer infallible and invincible. All it would take was the pull of a trigger, the flick of a knife, the stab of a sword, and Thor… dear, perfect, birth-son Thor would be dead. And yet, Loki hesitated. He could not say why, at least not yet when he'd had so little time to think about it, but he couldn't bring himself to cause the death of his… brother. Thor, as much as he hated to admit it, was his kin.

"I'll observe for now. I'll see how this diseased realm changes him. If it changes him, like Father… Odin… believes it will." He chuckled. "And, of course, if Thor doesn't somehow meddle with my plans for this Reich."

"Commander! Heil! Hydra!" A young messenger raised his hand in salute.

"Yes, yes! What is it?" Loki waved him closer.

"A message from the South-West Sector!" The young man quickly handed Loki an envelope and then saluted once more before marching out of the room. Loki gently opened the envelope and pulled out a small report from Beich.

The man with long blond hair has been spotted. You should know, he is not alone.

So… Thor had already made little friends in this realm. Loki brushed back his hair away from his eyes and stood slowly. Then he smiled. It was about time for him to join the researchers and his brother in the South-Western corner of the Reich.
