IT had been three month since Danny Fenton/phantom saved not only the human race but the ghostly race from extinction because of a rouge meteor sent forth by a bone headed move by Vlad Masters/Plasmius to screw with Danny. Things had been off and on with him and Sam so they decided to end it they remained friends but that it in that time the ghost of the ghost zone warmed up to him after that. some even went so far as to call him friend. Especially Ember the bad ass rocker ghost.
They'd hung out every now and then. whether if it was at one of her concerts, at the annual Christmas truce party, or just for a shoulder to cry on. They always made time for each other and they where always there for each other. Another day had come and gone and Christmas was a week and a half away Danny decided to go shopping for presents to give to his friends, his sister Jazz, Danielle if she decided to stop by and say hi, and a special gift for Ember. One month into their friendship he started to develop strong feelings for her but decided for the sake of their friendship to keep them hidden. little did he know that she felt the same way and they where thinking the same thing (thinking: I'll confess my love tonight) why wait till Christmas.
after the shopping was done and he drop the things off at home he went ghost and hi tailed it to the ghost zone before his parents started their holiday tradition of arguing about if Santa is real or not. he flew straight towards her realm at top speed where unbeknownst to him Ember was waiting. when he saw her he was awe struck she was wearing a red Vera Wang spaghetti strap dress that fit her to perfection with matching red stiletto pumps and some onyx eye shadow that complemented her eyes pop. he had to take a moment to collect the fallen pieces of his mind after the mind blowing sight before continuing.
when he touched down there eyes met for a moment and they where hypnotized by each other and they both new they where meant for each other which made what they where about to do a lot easier. after the moment of soul-searching and greetings they got right to the point. Danny was the first to speak.
Danny: Ember I need to tell you something.
Ember: go ahead babypop you can tell me anything. she said with the smile so warm she could melt the polar ice caps.
Danny: he looked strait into her eyes as he said: these past three months have been the best of both my lives and I started to feel heavy feeling for you that I cant keep hiding from. deep down I know we can be more I took that fist step so I am. I'm asking you to give my love a try and take that first step with me Because i love you.
you can try to imagine how happy she was at that moment but trust me you cant. so with no hesitation from her she threw her self in his arms and kissed him with so much passion and love he could of sworn he died twice and went to heaven.
after the kiss they looked in each others eyes and ember asked him:
Ember: Babypop?
Danny: yes Ember.
Ember: what took ya so long.
they both smiled at that said i love you t the same time and kissed again holding it as long as they could while deepening it and basking in the sensation of there lips. ember's where warm cause of her fire powers and danny's where colder than normal cause of his ice powers but they both thought it was perfect.
And it was the end of there friendship and the beginning of a love that will last forever.
The end is only a new beginning.
