Something I wrote about the time my dog Sasha died. I miss her so much, even my dad misses her too. So now, we have a new dog name Bella.
I miss you so much, Sasha. :(
Shadow and Nebula are out at the park together, enjoying the winter time. Nebula wore a purple winter jacket, black leggings, and boots. Shadow on the other hand just wore a red thick scarf around his neck.
Nebula sighs in her deep thoughts; ever since was 4 years old she had a pet dog named Sasha, and black Labrador mix pit bull. She loved her dog so much she was like a best friend to her. That was when Nebula at age 14, Sasha died of diabetics.
"Are you okay Nebs?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just I missed my pet dog Sasha so much. She was like a best friend to me" she sighs in sadness. She showed the picture of Sasha to him.
Shadow hugged her. Nebula hugged him back as she sobs quietly on his shoulders.
As soon as she calms down, they held hands and went for a walk on the sidewalk of Station Square. All of a sudden, Nebula's ears twitched lightly at the sound of some kind of whimper coming from the alley.
Shadow looked at her.
The whimper grew loud which sounds like a dog crying for help in this cold weather. Nebula and Shadow quickly went in the alley and what they saw completely shocked them.
A homeless puppy with a chain leash attached to the perimeter fence.
"Oh my god" Nebula went over to the puppy.
"Shadow, can you cut the chains?"
He nodded and Chaos Spear the chains as it broke.
The puppy leapt onto him.
"Poor little guy" Shadow held the puppy.
"Um, actually it's a girl" Nebula said. Shadow noticed the puppy's…..privacy and he looked away quickly. Indeed Nebula was right, the puppy is a female.
"Poor puppy, she's starving and freezing to death. Let's get her to my house" Nebula said; Shadow nods and Chaos Control to Nebula's house.
Nebula sets the fireplace on to keep the poor puppy warm while Shadow wraps her up in blankets.
"Don't worry. You're safe in here. Whoever did this to you will never harm you again" Shadow said to the puppy.
Nebula came back from the kitchen with a bowl of warm milk.
The puppy licked the milk up as soon as it was close to her.
"She reminds me of Sasha" Nebula said, watching the puppy lick up some milk.
"Oh" Shadow said.
"So what kind of dog is she?" he gestured to the puppy drinking milk from the bowl.
"She looks like a rat terrier mix Chihuahua" Nebula said.
"Wow. So what are you gonna call her?"
"I'm not so sure. Do you have any good names?" she asked.
"Well, how about Bella? Like from Twilight" Shadow said. It gave Nebula to think for a second, then she nodded.
The puppy looked at them, she liked her name. It suits her.
"Welcome to your new home, Bella" Nebula said.
Shadow smiled at her.
The next day; Nebula introduced Bella to her pet cat Midnight. He thought that dogs aren't friendly with cats but Bella was not like that. She was young and seems to be friendly with him.
"Nice to meet you" he said.
(Yes, I know that cats don't talk. Midnight is wearing a translator collar to help him talk)
Bella pounced on him and licked his cheek.
He purred.
"Aww…." Nebula smiled at this.
Shadow smiled as well.
"Arf arf arf" Bella barked happily and plays with Midnight in the living room.
Midnight purred while playing.
