"But why?",she asked leaned in closer,smelling the deep fragrance of plum that lingered on her skin."Why not?",he smiled up at her,that smile she knew could never resist."But...me?"her voice came breaking towards the held her close,their lips brushing."I wouldn't want anyone else",and with that closed the distance between them and she finally wouldnt want anyone else either.
She put her head against his chest, entranced to the slow hearbeat of his heart."Forever", he muttered. She sat up and looked into his crytal blue eyes."No", she shook her head. "Why not?", he asked smiled."Forever isn't enough."
'Crash!' She ran to the kitchen where the sound had come from. She found him standing over,a shattered vase."What happened?",she asked eyeing him suspiciously. He looked out the window, then turned to her and smiled."I just realized I love you", he answered simply. She couldn't help but smile.
He fiddled with the small black box in his coat jacket. Hopefully the empath wouldn't figure out what he was up to before he could give it to her. He looked around searching for her, and recognized a pale face in the moonlight. She smiled down at him then sat down next to him. He was so happy to have her there with they'd stay like that forever.
He held her hands. He couldn't believe it.
"When?", he asked in amazement.
"Next summer." She said and she blushed, really blushed."Are you...", she searched for the word,"happy?". He smiled and sweept her off her feet.
"Yes, you have made me the world's happiest man alive." He set her on the ground.
"I love you", she said then embraced him.
"I love you", he replied. He looked down at her stomach."And you too."
