21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12. The arena glistens with light. On my right, I can see a forest. It's perfect for me, a tribute from District 7. In front of me, a giant lake sparkles beautifully. On my left, there's a giant frozen wasteland with trees sprouting out of the ice. And behind me, there is a giant grassy plain, with something brown moving through it. Resources are spread all over the ground randomly. I feel tempted to grab a green backpack 10 yards away and prepare myself to get it. Adrenaline tingles through my body and I direct myself towards my objective. The gong sounds. I feel like I am underwater. I jump off the silver podium and sprint at the backpack. Tributes rush all around me. A small boy runs into a tall girl. I don't look to shield myself from the violence. I fumble as I grip the strap of the backpack and nearly fall onto the ground. I slip the backpack over my shoulder and suddenly hesitate. I don't know if I should go to the Cornucopia. I see a huge boy running at me with a spear and think, "Damn it!" I run at the golden horn. The boy, I think he's from District 1, chucks the spear at me. It lands right behind me in the dirt. The boy yells in frustration, and I dive at the ground, screaming. I crash into the Cornucopia and crawl towards the opening. I hear a scream and see the District 1 boy crushing a boy's skull with his bare hands. I creep into the horn and look at what it provides. knife the size of my forearm attracts my attention. I take the knife and then hear somebody coming into the Cornucopia. I squeal and instinctively grab a giant ax. It's the boy from 1. I swing the ax and it lands in his shin. I hear a snapping sound and the boy roars. He falls on top of me, and all I can think of is, "Stab him! NOW!" I follow my instinct and bring the knife into his back, feeling his muscles ripping apart and blood rushing out of his wound. He groans and struggles to get up. I go deeper and feel a scratching noise as my knife touches bone. It snaps and the boy yells, pulling himself away. I look at my hand and see the warm blood dripping down my palm. Ew. The boy falls and I run as fast as possible, stepping into his wound for good measure. A few moments later, I'm in the forest.
