Prologue:
Squall is an ordinary student at Balamb Garden and he doesn't have any idea that his life is about to be seriously turned around by another student whom he has never met before and can't help but be interested in her.
Chapter 1: Love at First Sight
(Squall's POV)
"Oh Shit! I am going to be late for first period, if I am late again Instructor Trepe is going to give me a detention."
I had to run to first period, even though I risked getting a detention from running. On the way to the elevator I bumped into several people and had to shove someone out of my way to get in.
~In class~
"Mr. Leonhart, you are late. I am sorry, but I am going to have to give you a detention." Instructor Trepe said as I entered the classroom.
"Yes ma'am, I understand"(Damn it, late again, and now people are going to be mad at me for shoving them and running into them.)
After sitting down, I noticed a girl who had never been in that class before, I couldn't help but notice that she was beautiful, but I could never let her know, I'd have to let my guard down.
Leaning over in my seat, I asked the person next to me who the new girl was.
"Who, Her? That's Rinoa. She is new here. She just transferred from Galbadia Garden."
(I have to find some way to introduce myself without looking like a complete moron.)
~A few days later, during lunch~
(There she is. No one is sitting with her; maybe I could go and ask her if I can sit next to her.)
"Hello, may I sit here?"
"I don't see any reason why not."
"Oh, by the way, my name is Squall Leonhart."
"My name is Rinoa. I have heard about you. You are the one who isn't normally all that social aren't you."
"Oh, so you have heard about that."(Oh shit, she is going to think I am some kind of psycho)
"Yes, I have heard about you. Should I be honored that you are sitting with me or is this the only spot left?"
(Great, she has to give me 2 answers and I can't use either of them.)
"Think whatever you want, I just thought I'd introduce myself and now that I have done that, If you will excuse me. I guess I will go now."
(Rinoa's POV)
(He was kind of cute. Maybe I'll get to know him a little better.)
