Short Drabble about Rose's thoughts durning; Fear Her, when the Doctor admits to being a father. I guess that would be a spoiler.

"I was a dad once!" The Doctor's words froze Rose.
"What did you say?" she asked, all sorts of thoughts rushing through her mind, he was a father why hadn't he mentioned this before, and what did he mean once, he was hiding something, he had said it so calmly as if it wasn't a massive deal, which might I add it was.
He didn't answer her question, in fact he had ignored it all together, Rose was in shock, there were many things about the Doctor she could accept, but him being a father, no that couldn't be. He didn't do domestics. But a father, that was pretty domestic, domestic as they came in fact. She wondered, was his child, killed in the Time War, why hadn't he spoken about being a father before now?
He didn't seem to want to talk about it started going on about warp drive and holding people's hands, Rose pointed at him and he took her hand; "No, no I was pointing…" she said giggling slightly. He grinned as he looked to the TARDIS screen. Rose's mind was still doing double time.
Him a dad, but how, with who. What happened to them, the mother and the child, never to be mentioned again? Rose wondered if, when she left him, she would become another forgotten memory, just getting a passing mention. She had known the Doctor for two years now and never had he said a word of his 'family' all she gets is; 'I was a dad once' and what's that? Nothing. She knows so little about the man…alien she'd fallen in love with. She was still thinking about this, as she walked from the TARDIS. He was a father. Was. Past tense. He wasn't one anymore.
What had happened to his child?
