Reunited

Tidus POV

As I woke up from my deep slumber, I found myself warm in cool water. Then I remembered…'Yuna'. As I grew excited to see her, I quickly swam to the shore of what looked like Besaid. As I got out, I exhaustedly collapsed on the shore, thinking all about the dreaded time.

Flashback

"Tidus, your fading" Yuna cries, looking at me, then rushing to hug my fading dream, finding the she could not.

"Yuna, I'm sorry," I said in anguish now approaching my love that is sobbing. I pick her up; I materialize for a minute just to hold her then give her what I thought was my last kiss of passion.

"But I love you…" said Yuna, her voice now horse

As I approached the deck, I threw my Zanarkand Abes necklace at her, for I didn't want to see me jump. As I jumped, muttered

"Don't forget me…"

Back on the shore

I woke up, sweating, just to find out that fiends surrounded me, and then out of nowhere, Aurochs came to fend them off.

"Wow Tidus, how did you get here brudda?" asked Keepa, looking at me to make sure that I'm real.

"Yeh, how'd you all of a sudden appeared now?" also questioned Wakka, now walking toward me. As I went up Wakka grabbed me and gave me a noogie.

"Hey, stop it!" I said while squirming in his arms. Then a thought passed through me…"YUNA!" I shouted, surprising the whole team.

"Hey, you better hurry, she's most likely crying in her hut right now" said Wakka, now waiting for my answer

'Dammit!' I thought, thinking I caused all that harm I did to her. I didn't answer him, because I was full with guilt

So I rushed to her hut, wanting to be reunited.

Besaid village

When I reached the hut, I found Yuna sitting on the bed, sobbing her eyes out

"Yuna?" I said in a pitiful voice, wanting for her to turn around.

Yuna POV

As I turned around, I saw something I wanted to believe… there was Tidus, standing right in front of me

"Yuna" he said, as I looked into his deep sapphire blue eyes. "I have something to tell you," he said, now I'm in his arms, never to let go.

"I love you…" for now I knew I could stop wondering if he did or didn't.

"I'll be with you always" I heard him say before I drifted into slumber with him in my arms.
