"I Hope you understand that we almost lost you twice and I don't want to feel that helpless again Dominik," his mother said sternly. Dominik understood what his mother was saying. He was currently lying in a hospital. He awoke to hounding parents trying to figure out was happened. He was waiting at a bar for Sylvia to come and take the pills from him. But when she didn't come he started to flush them down the toilet, Dominik started to take them one by one. He overdosed; when he woke up he was happy that he had lived to see another day.
"I'm sorry mom and dad I didn't want to do that." He sighed.
"You had to get your stomach pumped. And after you leave here, you are going somewhere safe and where you can't put yourself in danger anymore." His father proclaimed. Dominik nodded in agreement with his father. He liked the idea of going someplace new, starting over, maybe even falling in love. Where would he go Paris, London, somewhere not in Europe, all of these questions were filling his head. He had always wanted to go somewhere out of Europe. Maybe he could even go to the US or Canada.
"Where am I going." He asked.
"Florida, then maybe Toronto." Beata answered her son. So how long would he stay in these places? Where would he live? All of these new questions arose. But he kept quiet. He was tired, he wanted to sleep. So he did.
When he awoke his parents were gone. He stayed up most of the night thinking about where he would go from there; to be honest he never even thought he would the country. "Freedom," he muttered falling into slumber.
Falling, falling, falling. Dominik dreamt about that so often now, when he fell asleep he would have these dreams where he would fall. He would never land he saw things he had accomplished at and things he had failed horribly at. It was pretty much his life in reverse. His mind telling him to leap forward into the next chapter or something like that. Or at least that's what he thought. Over the past months his depression got worse. Maybe that's why he took those pills. He did regret everything he had done, but it was a short moment thing, he really didn't mean to cause his parents so much pain.
That's why he was looking forward to leaving setting of on a new adventure. That could possibly change his life for the better.
