Hello everyone! Welcome to a sort of pilot to A Noble End! I promise to you guys, the story makes a lot more sense than it first seems.

Dust flew into Six's eyes as the rock crumbled overhead, making his eyes water, and his vision blur. "Chief, move!" he shouted at the veteran Spartan.
Standing up, the powerful Master Chief quickly dive-rolled to the side. Seconds later, a chunk of the cave wall fell in the exact position he was sat in a moment ago.
Picking up his helmet, the hyper-lethal Spartan-III followed. The HUD flickered to life, and pinpricks appeared on the circle in the corner. Covenant.
"Weapons loose!" shouted the rogue ahead, pulling his MA5C from his back.
Meanwhile, a dot flashed behind on Six's motion sensor. "10-4!" he cried, pulling his DMR's scope to his eye. Luckily, it was trained directly on a Sanghelli warrior's head. Without hesitating, he fired, taking down the alien's body shield.
Primed for a killshot, Six's finger pulled the trigger a second time, but the bullet hit the wall behind. Turning around, he saw Chief with his right arm extended, which held a smoking Magnum.
"I had it handled," Six said.
"I think I handled it for you," replied the decorated soldier, turning away. Suddenly, a huge rock fell into the crevice through which the duo planned to escape, blocking them in.
Looking upwards, a shadow seemed to pass overhead. "Phantom!" shouted Six, about to run for cover. Chief stopped him.
"Damn Covenant," he said, "They're trying to bomb us in."
"We haven't got much of a choice," replied the grey-armoured Spartan. "We've gotta move."

To be honest, I've been wanting to write a Halo fic for a while, and I fricking LOVE Noble Team.
This will almost certainly be taken down at the introduction of the first proper chapter, but this is just an idea for one of the later chapters.
It starts off pretty slow, but I just wanted to show you a part of the story which is a little more high-energy. This part will be about halfway through the story.
Hopefully, the next chapter will be out next week!
