Shining Day (Forever and Always)

Ty Larkin wrote this companion piece to my long-running PMD seriea 'Forecer and Always' which I hope to upload in the future. This piece is about the possible ending I have planned for the series.

Winter days, the snow falls

But the summer will come again

I knew you'd pull through

Though now we are at the end

I never knew we'd be here

At the end of the world

Day by day we grew

Until our story had unfurled

Watashi wa anata o shitte yorokonde ita (I was glad to know you)
Anata no mirai wa akarui kamo shire (may your future be bright)
Deteiku to kagayaki (go forth and shine!)

We swore that, together,

We would overcome all in our way

And forever, we would always remember

Our very last, shining day

But I vowed to myself

That I would not lose heart

I would never cry

Or let our memories depart
