"As one life ends…"
Her light blonde locks blew in the wind as she stared down at the wet grass and many bouquets placed around the moulded stone. She sniffed and wiped a stray tear from her cheeks on the back of her petite hand.
"I miss you" she whispered in one short, raspy breath.
She bent her knee's and hovered above the ground. The 16-year-old girl looked at the many colourful flowers and the cards with them. "Rest in peace" or "we miss you" were amongst some of the messages. She looked up at the gravestone, reading it for the hundredth time.
More tears fell from her eyes and she mentally scolded herself for it, she needed to be strong.
"…" she felt the presence of someone behind her, but didn't bother to turn since she was almost certain she knew who it was. She stood up to her full height as he approached and stood to her right.
"Nine years have gone so fast, huh?" Naminé smiled up at him. His heart sank when he saw her beautiful eyes bloodshot and clouded by tears.
He pulled her close and she sobbed into his chest whilst he rubbed her back comforting her in her depression.
"Yeah, it has" he murmured into her hair, not wanting to upset her anymore.
They stood like that for what seemed like hours, but only really took place over the period of four minutes.
"I'd like to leave now" she whispered, her tears had ceased but had left trails down her cheeks.
"Sure" he whispered, kissing the top of her head. "Did you tell them?"
She smiled sincerely as they began walking away. "Yeah, I think they would be happy" she rubbed a hand on her stomach.
He smiled as she moved her small fingers in between his.
"…Another begins"
A/N: So on Wednesday it was the 9th anniversary of my family :) I was a little depressed so I started writing this as a pathetic attempt at venting, then when I read it back the next day I thought "Wow I sound emo!" :S so I added the whole 'possible-pregnancy' thing in :P I know its short. Sorry its short, I hope you enjoyed reading it.
R.I.P. Mum, Dad, Emma and Thomas :)
