Time's End

The Q-Continuum

"You cannot be serious?!" cried Q.

The Council of the Q were getting annoyed and had just about lost all patience with Q. "Yes, Q, we are quiet serious. The Humans have just invented the Quantum Slipstream Drive. They were not supposed to have invented that, from their perspective, until the 41st Century!"

Q merely rolled his eyes, "Why do you care if they did? What harm could it possibly bring to us? We're Q, for Q's sake! So what if we were off 1500 years!? We thought the Humans weren't supposed to be in the Delta Quadrant for another hundred years, but there they were!"

A female Q with black, piercing eyes spoke up, "When they did get into the Delta Quadrant, they left it within 7 years, 16 years before they were supposed to return to the Alpha Quadrant!"

Q sighed, "So? Your point is?"

The Female Q scowled, "The point is that the Humans have become dangerous. Every time we make prediction about them and try to set them on a path that is beneficial to them and us, they do something that is far from it. In the past 400 years since the invention of their Warp Drive, they progressed up to a point that takes any other race thousands of years to get to. They are progressing far to fast. They must be stopped!"

Q stared at her and the Council, "So you're really going to do it?"

The Female Q stood up, "Yes, Q, we are. When all of this is over, the universe will be on its correct path and the Humans will be gone"
