AN: Just saw a prompt on one of my Facebook FanFiction sites
A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension.
The fact that I'm dragging a body behind me should be irrelevant.
Very late one night finds Sebastian Lund out in the middle of nowhere. Just how much trouble could he be in? He is about to find out.
A Walk in the Woods
Was this swamp, bayou, or woods? Sebastian Lund couldn't tell the difference any more. It was harder dragging the dead body, so he guessed it was more woods. One of these days he would regret doing favors like this for others.
All of a sudden the night 's darkness was pierced by several high powered flashlight rays centered on him.
"Don't move," said one voice.
"Put your hands above your head," said another.
"Could you please decide what you want me to do?" Sebastian asked. "I don't have time for such foolishness."
By that time several law enforcement types had surrounded him, guns drawn. "Do you mind telling us what you are doing out here in the middle of the woods, dragging a body around? Someone spotted you and called it in." the big one with glasses asked him.
"I'm a federal agent. Sebastian Lund, forensic scientist working with NCIS: New Orleans. My credentials are in my back pocket. I am taking this body out to the Federal Body Dump so we can measure the effects of decomposition on dead bodies."
"Why isn't it in a body bag?" big four-eyes asked.
"We need to simulate the body being dragged from the road to its final resting place." Sebastian answered.
By that time one of them the others pulled the leather wallet from Sebastian's pocket and checked it.
"He's a Fed, Bubba."
"Dang. I'm tired of tramping through the woods. It's almost morning. I'm hungry for breakfast, and I thought we caught us a genuine cereal killer."
