Whoops!
A/N: Okay, so, I'm writing this for a contest. The theme is the accidental kiss. What we had to do is take a 2nd generation character and give he or she an accidental kiss. I'm very proud of my story. So if anybody tries to put me down on how it's written, I don't care. If I don't win (Which we all know I going to) I won't be upset. I'm still learning. If anybody has any tips on improving my writing could you please tell me! Thanks! So, yeah. You should get it. ENJOY AND REVIEW! Please, I really want to know what you think. (Help me bribe the contest host so I can win! )
It was a normal day a Hogwarts. Nothing special was going on, but oh would there. Al was in Teddy's defense against the dark arts class. He was the youngest teacher to ever teach. 26, everyone was proud of him. He was drowning on and on about one spell they had been working on since forever. He couldn't stop looking over to his left at Emily English. She was a Ravenclaw, and Al was a Gryffindor, but he couldn't stop loving her. She had beautiful curly locks of goldish bronze, a face that you couldn't stop staring at.
"Al" Teddy said breaking away from his long lecher, "Pay attention!"
"Sorry" He softly said in a whisper, and went back to looking at Emily. She was looking at him, along with everyone. His eyes met hers and he gave her a smile. She smiled back and turned back around.
A few seconds later, the bell rang and everybody ran out of the room. Al was the last one to leave. Walking out of the room he took a left at the same time that Emily was walking into the room with a question in the same direction. There was no time to think, or force their feet to move. They didn't know what was going to happen. It just happened. Their lips hit each other and let go five seconds later.
Her eyes were as big as grapefruits and Al had jumped back an inch or two because of shock. He was embarrassed. The worst wasn't over, James, Al's older much less mature brother, James. He walked up to them with swag in his step and asked in Al's ear, "Nice working. Next time go with someone really in your league!"
The last part wasn't much of a whisper as to a yell, so that much more than just Al could hear. Emily was still there, staring and trying to tell herself what really just happened. By this point her eyes were back to normal size then Al's were huge when he said she wasn't a part of his league.
That was it. He couldn't take it. He just back away, and left to his next class. He never talked to Emily again, even though she secretly liked him all along. All because of James they would never truly be together. Emily always wanted to talk to Al about what happened, and that she doesn't believe in leagues. People who like other people should be together, no matter what they look like, their iq, or athletic abilities. Al never stopped looking at her, though. James never let Al forget His embarrassing event.
