A/N: Welcome. This is a one-shot that continues after the previously released one-shot whoa. It is highly recommended you read whoa first before proceeding with this one. Enjoy.

Fast

Fast - a song released by Chicago rapper Juice WRLD on his 2nd studio album Death Race for Love on March 8th, 2019. In here, Juice WRLD explains how his life has taken off since fame and how time passes by quickly now.

Jeez, it's been five years since those events, hasn't it?

Well of course, the little racer was astonished by that thought. Never in her life had she noticed how time can simply pass by in such speed. The thought of time passing by in lightning speed swum into her after she left for Sugar Rush after hanging out with Ralph on the roof of the penthouse.

As she was in the ride that would lead from Fix-It Felix Jr. to Game Central Station, time felt fast. Reminiscing about the past was always a fun ride, wasn't it? It totally distracts you from the outside world that revolves around you so much, you don't ever know you're still surrounded. That happened with Vanellope in this case, and for a few seconds, she hadn't realized her ride came to a full stop.

Vanellope could think of anything to do before opening times, perhaps go for another drink, but she knew she needed that rest, to be up fresh in the morning, ready to claim victory in any race she'll ever be picked on. Believe it or not, it's a stressful hobby, so many questions linger in your mind. What if the player makes a sharp turn on a part of the track that only requires a slight turn? What if the player wasn't looking ahead and a gumball could potentially crush you right on the track? Stressful thoughts, but thankfully they never happen.

As Vanellope entered the pathway that would take her to Sugar Rush, she thought about the fame she has been getting since those five years. Literally, almost every pick was Vanellope, sometimes it could be someone else. She never realized her signature glitch has really attracted the players, day one to newcomers. Sure, some of the newcomers defined her glitch as a "cheat," but Vanellope couldn't help but appreciate her power that was given to her. Racing was so much easier that way, it just makes it hard to ever lose. But like anyone else like her, it never got boring to win everytime, even if you feel bad for having to beat someone who should have the chance to win at least one time.

Again, Vanellope hadn't realized where she was, and she noticed that she was already on the rainbow path that lead to the world of Sugar Rush.

The scent of the environment was sweet, as it always had been. Wherever Vanellope walked, the aroma of the ground, trees, everything entered her chipmunk-like nose, and she would never get sick of that. By now, she would've known the path that would take from the entrance of Sugar Rush, to her pink colored home (well, white on the outside). Halfway through her journey, she let out a soft yawn of tiredness, man she really needed rest after the long day. Maybe the burger from earlier kicked in just now.

Ever since 2012, hangouts after Litwak's Arcade closed never disappointed Vanellope. So many things could happen in many different times. She would never walk up to Ralph with a frown on her face, seeing that would hurt for Ralph to ever notice. The only times she would ever show a sign of sadness would be a horrible nightmare, but even then, those were insanely rare. Perhaps her favorite part of hanging out with Ralph is hanging out in his game, who knows what everyone else besides Ralph is up to.

Vanellope's friendship with Ralph really has changed. Never in both of their lives had they ever noticed they would become the best friends they could ever be. There was something with Ralph to Vanellope that she thought. It's just that, Ralph was just so funny around her! She still remembers the moment they met, knowing dang well that Ralph wasn't part of the so-called, "Candy Tree Department," knowing dang well he was a hobo, and knowing well he was such a g-doi for not knowing about double striped branches. He never fails to disappoint Vanellope, whatever he does brings a smile to her face.

Finally, Vanellope arrived to her home, which was a huge castle with such luxuries. Ok, maybe not luxuries, but anything that the other racers definitely don't own, especially the numerous trophies she has lying around. As she started heading to her room, she grew even more tired, just dying to get that sleep she needs. Vanellope could feel her eyes threatening to shut as she slowly walked down the hallway, but she had to force them open before she could be found knocked out in the middle of the hallway.

After what it felt like more than 2 minutes (she couldn't specify how long it felt), she finally opened the door that would lead to her room, which was insanely huge. She had a bed that was obviously bigger than her, a wardrobe, bathroom, everything! It was enough for her needs, so she never complained about any additions or removals of said sections. Once she entered her room, she quickly changed out of her usual outfit, and finally lied down on her bed.

Arms behind her head, the thought of time passing by never stopped, even while she was tired as much as she was before. But one thing lingered around her mind the most.

When Ralph asked her, "What if we never met?"

That one question that made her go "whoa." That was such a weird thought to think about! One thing she could think of is her probably never becoming the famous racer she is now, and King Candy, no, Turbo, would continue ruling Sugar Rush, for mod knows how long.

Thinking about the sad life Vanellope lived for did cause a little pain in her chest, but she did take note that it was the past, and whatever happened in the past already happened, and it never would resume in the present. But what about the future? Would it ever happen again? Of course she doesn't want to be tormented everyday in the future, like she was in the past. She wouldn't want to get locked up in the fungeon in frequent times, like she did in the past. Most of all, she wouldn't want to give up becoming a racer after everyone else kicks you for it.

Like she almost did in the past.

Those thoughts, however, never really affected her. Vanellope for sure knew that Turbo was dead and dealt with, there was no way he would ever reappear in the world she lived in. She couldn't think of a possible reason for Turbo's return if even she saw him get incinerated by the toasty molten Coke of Diet Cola Mountain. On top of that, all the other racers have been treating her equally since Turbo's death, knowing that she is one of them, and the fact she rules the game as president now.

Vanellope, by now, was too tired to think about Ralph's question, and slowly the thoughts drifted away from her little mind. Finally, she had the freedom to notice the world around her and not get distracted by thinking about whatever came up in her head. Now with her mind blank with nothing, she was finally able to sleep in her own freedom.

After about five minutes passed by after the thoughts left her mind, Vanellope slowly drifted to sleep, as the next day awaits her.
