By now you may or may not have read enough of my stories to realize that I'm not J.K Rowling, and therefore, do not own Harry Potter. If you haven't… well you should go read them.

I leaned over the simmering cauldron to see what saw inside. The potion was a glimmering white, like mother of pearl, and I inhaled deeply, letting the scents waft through my nose.

New parchment, the library, Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, and a strange smell that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It smelled like the Quidditch Pitch, and the Gryffindor tower, and maple all at the same time. It was manly, almost kind of spicy, musky. I shrugged as Professor Slughorn dismissed the Sixth-years.

As I walked down the corridor towards the Gryffindor tower, I collided with somebody. A very tall somebody with messy black hair and round glasses. I glanced up and opened my mouth to make a rather rude remark, when I smelled something. The same something that I had smelled when I had smelled the Amortentia. I closed my mouth right away and hurried out of sight, leaving a very confused boy behind me. Normally I couldn't keep myself from insulting him when he was in my sight.

But I couldn't believe what that smell was.

When I smelled Amortentia… I smelled… James Potter.

A/N: I know not my best, but I liked the idea of it and did my best to put it into words. It is Lily Evans and James Potter, and during their sixth-year. Please review it! I love getting those emails! And I want to know if I did okay on this one, and what I could do better. Thanks guys! You rock!
