Miriam enjoyed being an Engloid. It was just her, Lola, and Leon. And then there was the occasional Kaito and Meiko.
They were the Vocaloid 1's supposed to be the role models for the younger generation. Too bad it was the other way around.
Once Hatsune Miku came out they all soon looked up to her, wanting her voice, her cute style…just everything.
After the twins were released Lola and Leon just…disappeared. No one really cared where they went or even how. But Miriam cared. She cared for the people that used to talk to her and get her off her feet whenever over shadowed.
Meiko was the first to notice Miriam stopped singing. The silver haired Vocaloid locked herself up in the room all three of them used to sing in, before Vocaloid2 was released.
Soon after that, Meiko moved into the Engloid house to cheer up her friend. Nothing she did cheered up the older Vocaloid, and so Meiko gave up. Returning to Japan she had to face the fact that Kaito became popular while she was gone.
Apparently she missed her big chance to fame as the brunette wasn't there for Miku to choose her for a duet. It didn't take long for Meiko to slip into depression from being easily surpassed by the other Vocaloids. Then, one night Meiko ceased to function.
She soon began to live the same fate as Leon and Lola; no one cared that she was never around anymore. Miriam, being distraught, gave up on her life and forced herself into eternal sleep.
No one cared for them, as normal.
