No More Food For You…

Cye wanted his revenge. He would take them down, one by one. First on his list was Kento; the one who had eaten his poor friend and brother.

"Kento will pay," Cye said, shaking a fist towards the ceiling with tears streaming down his face.

A few days later…

Kento came into the kitchen. "Cye, are you gonna cook anything?" he moaned.

"No," Cye said bluntly, "not for you anyway." Cye was in the kitchen, cooking dinner for four, not five.

Kento opened the refrigerator. He also looked in the cabinets. "Where's all our food? I'm starving!"

"If you want food, go get it," Cye said, not looking at him.

"I will," Kento said. He went to the drawer where the guys each put money for food. He opened it and found it empty. "Where's all the money, Cye?" Kento walked to Cye, yelling.

"There hasn't been any since last week," Cye said. "You would know if you put any in there."

"What do mean, 'You would know if you put any in there'? I do put money in there. Almost all of my paycheck, too." Kento yelled. He stormed out of there to inform Ryo.

Cye remained quite until he was sure Kento was gone. He began to laugh. He took out a set of keys and locked the refrigerator, pantry, and the money drawer. He was "keeper of the keys" at the Ronin House.

Not too long afterwards, Ryo came storming in the kitchen with the others behind him.

"What's going on, Cye?" Ryo said. "What are you doing to us?"

Cye looked at them confused. "Feeding you?" he pretended to act as if he didn't know what was going on. "If you want dinner, you have to stay out of the kitchen." He pushed them all out of the kitchen and locked the door with one of his many keys. He snickered a little and went back to cooking. He locked the windows, closed the curtains, and left out the back. He climbed a latter to his bedroom and went inside. He picked up his book and began to read. He shared a room with Kento, who came storming in. Once he saw Cye, his expression changed to confusion.

"How…" was the only think he could muster.

The following week…

Kento went into the kitchen and found everything back to normal. He grabbed a bowl, a box of cereal, and the milk. He poured the cereal and the milk in the bowl. He grabbed a spoon and took a bite of his breakfast. Soon after he spit it back out.

"Cye," he screamed at the top of his lungs.

Author's Note: What is it you think was with the food? Was it the milk? The cereal? Take a guess!
