Summary: Rose and the gang are back for third year. Dealing with teenage hood, annoying cousins, and male best friends, oh yeah, and a younger brother, a younger cousin who was a seer, and a new prophecy. No such thing as simple, is there?

Rose Weasley and the new prophecy

First term.

Rose's POV:

Third year, hip hip hurrah! Lily, Hugo, and Dominique are Lions!

Now second years could go to Hogsmead… The beginning was boring, until Halloween… Scorp got disowned, Lily got a gecko, and we muggle studies kids were going trick or treating with one person out of class each. I was bringing Hugo, Al was bringing Lils, and Scorp was bringing Dommy… Oh, and Scorp was adopted by uncle Harry. So I was Artemis, with Scorp as Apollo and Al as Zeus, Lily was the Egyptian goddess of Geckos, Hugo was the god of Crocodiles, and Dom was the goddess of cats. Roxy would have gone but didn't want to chose Jay or Fred… Lily had also developed an obsession with my laptop… Christmas eve came soon and we sat around the Burrow with the rest of the WPML(Weasley Potter Malfoy Lupin) kids on my super awesome blanket that we all fit on in our sleeping bags.

We changed as Grandmamma told us to and we went out for dinner. Lily looked at me oddly when I barely ate then went to the bathroom (and puked), I love Little Lily but she was too observant… Anyways, I had to talk to Hugo… He was scared because tomorrow we told the whole family the truth… Hugo was nervous… Well we had to go to bed… So we did… I woke up early the next morning and went to make breakfast. I made pancakes (some with chocolate chips, some without), eggs, and toast. I ate an apple and put the rest of the food out in the living room. I just realized that if my life were a story, I would be SO Mary Sue! I'm good at a lot of things because my dad thought that I had to be perfect so if I was bad at something I got lessons… For magic, my family taught us a lot… For surfing… Well I BEGGED Jay and Al to teach me and I wanted to show them that girls are as good as boys so even though they started off as better, I trained a lot so I could now beat them… Being competitive is a part of me… Oh, and I learned to cook from Grandmamma.

"Time to eat and open presents." I shouted, knowing everyone's favorites I put a plate each around the floor with presents in the middle.

"Oh Rose, you didn't need to cook." Grandmamma told me.

"This way we get presents sooner." I exclaimed.

"Smart," Jay laughed.

We each had our piles of presents. Hugo, Dom, and Lils got laptops, and I zoned out until I got the Map from Teddy. I gave him a huge hug. Then, Hugo got Lils and Dom the same necklace as mine, their stone in the middle and the other two on the sides. Lily's was an amethyst because it's her birthstone, Dom's was a pale blue stone and Hugo's was a sapphire… I loved it… Um… Oh, my turn! I got something from Al and Scorp… It was a bracelet; it had grey and emerald stones and the breast cancer sign as a charm… It wasn't a charm bracelet though…

"Oh my gods! I love it!" I shouted in tears. I hugged the two of them and sat down with them, Hugo came and joined me, sitting on my lap, and I ran my fingers through his hair as a form of comfort.

"Okay," Dad started "Rose or Hugo, you go."

"I looked at my brother and he pointed to me.

"Okay… So there's something we've been keeping a secret for a long time…"

AN- CLIFFIE! This is short, but I know what happens this story and year 4. Please review, and I explained why Rose is Mary Sue, her dad wants her to be perfect do she did gymnastics starting when she was 3 and still does it, same for dance, she sings, and she is on a summer cheer squad that you'll hear about in third year summer.
