She watched him coldly. The bearded Vulcan which lay no more the 3 meters away from where she was seated. Her hands were clenched into fists under her station. She had meant to be filling reports for McCoy. She couldn't understand herself, had it been the Her Spock, she'd be at his side, his hand in hers as she remained by his side. Watching him out of love and compassion. Instead she felt cold, unnerved.
This wasn't Her Mister Spock. She despised the Vulcan for this. He was unconscious, but she had no intention of letting this impostor out of her sight. She was fighting the urge to care for the stranger, despite all she had heard of this opposite Spock, he still looked like the man she desired. The beard suited him in a strange way, it seemed to humanize him in a strange way. She heaved a sigh, getting to her feet to check the males vitals.
She made her way cautiously towards him, McCoy was on the bridge and the rest of the nursing staff were in the lab, helping to find a way to treat a security officer who had been exposed to two different types of radiation whilst on an away mission. She was alone, and she'd be a fool to try and kid herself that she wasn't on edge.
She studied the screen as she stood by his side, trying to keep her thoughts on the situation strictly professional. He was due for another sedative, the Captain had ordered that he be kept in this state if she or any of her staff were alone without a security officer. She technically did have one, he was in a coma but he was still in the Isolab near by, a dry laugh at the back of her throat.
She turnt away, making her way to her station where an already loaded Hypospray lay. She took it in her hands, she stared at it momentarily, her mind wondering what her other self was like. Was she in love with the Spock that lay behind her, were they lovers, did she hate him, was she cold blooded and heartless or was she almost like herself. Heaving a sigh, she turnt around. She froze. Her pupils dilating. The Hypo falling from her hand to the floor with a small thud. He was stood there. Towering over her. His eyes cold, fixed on the nurse as she felt her stomach tie into a knot. Unable to scream. Unable to move. Unable to do anything but stare at the man before her.
