Just a little drabble celebrating the fact that I finally saw a teaser promo for this season, and today is Jeffrey Donovan's birthday! :D Enjoy!

Positive.
Fiona Glenanne blinked slowly, trying to get her head wrapped around that one simple word.
Positive.
She was sitting on the edge of her bathtub, and she could hear Michael moving around in the kitchen.
Michael. How was she going to tell him?
They had talked about this once before, and how it would be a bad idea because of their line of work. There were a lot of people out there waiting to kill both of them.
On the other hand… She looked at the little white stick again, and the answer was still the same. Positive. She was pregnant. They were going to have a baby.
Breathing deeply, she picked up the test and walked out of the bathroom on shaky legs.
When the bathroom door opened, Michael looked up from the blueberry pancakes he was making. "Hey, Fi. You feeling okay?" She had been acting strangely for about a week now, and he was beginning to think she was coming down with the flu or something of the sort. He wasn't looking forward to that. As difficult as she was healthy, she was a hundred times more so when sick.
She nodded. "I think so." Slipping up behind him, she wrapped her arm around his waist and rested her cheek against his back.
Michael grinned as he flipped a pancake. "Wow. It really must be my birthday."
"Shut up." She slid her hand under his shirt and lightly stroked his abdomen. As excited as she was becoming, she was still a little hesitant about telling him that he was going to be a father. He loved kids, and when he thought that his ex fiancé's son was his, he had been determined to do anything to save that little boy. She had no doubt that he would love their child, once it really sank in for him that she was pregnant.
He suddenly turned to face her, and with a grin, he lifted her onto the counter. Then he kissed her sweetly.
Before they could deepen the kiss, Fiona pulled back and searched his eyes. "I have something to tell you, Michael."
Raising a dark eyebrow, he pulled back slightly and patiently waited.
Exhaling deeply, Fiona finally held up the pregnancy test for Michael to see.
He looked at the white stick, then at Fiona's face. "Fi…?"
She smiled softly. "I'm pregnant, Michael."
Michael stood there for almost a full minute, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape.
Fiona became more worried by the second. He hadn't taken off, but he wasn't talking, either.
Finally he cleared his throat, and he couldn't help looking at her flat abdomen. "When…?"
"Seven or eight weeks ago."
"No…I mean, when are you due?"
"Around Christmas."
"A Christmas baby…" Slowly, almost hesitantly, he reached out and rested his palm flat against her abdomen. He loved Fiona, and he loved children. How could he not love their baby?
Fiona was surprised when he suddenly lifted her shirt and gently kissed her abdomen. This was not at all how she'd expected him to react, but it was thrilling. Actions spoke more loudly than words, and his actions were telling her that he was happy about their baby.
After kissing her abdomen, Michael took Fiona into his arms and kissed her softly. "Best birthday gift ever," he whispered against her lips.
She grinned. "Just wait until tonight."
"I've never heard a better threat." He kissed her again, his hand sliding under her shirt to touch her abdomen again.
Fiona settled into his arms, the one place that was home for her, and she knew that everything was going to be fine.
The End!
A/N: Aww, MF fluff. I know that I've yet to write an actual baby arrival story, but no fears! It's in the works. Thanks for reading, and please review!
