A year after Furngully was saved….
"Come on Batty!" I said pulling on Battys wing.
"No! There is no way I'm going to go above the canopy!"
"Ah come on bat man. Look I'll be with you the whole way." Pipe added trying to get Batty to let go of the tree bark.
"Remember what happened last time we went out of the canopy? Humans, tree's being cut down, Furngully almost being erased from the planet! Any of that ring a bell?" Batty said relaxing his voice on the last sentence.
"Yes but Batty everything's alright now," I said trying to calm him down.
"I don't know if I should trust you." Batty said.
"Fine then you can stay here and I'll go to Jamina." I said letting go of Batty.
"Oh no your not. You cant met the girl without me! It-it just wouldn't be right." Batty stammered.
"Ok then I need you to trust me ok."
"Ok but if we get chased by a hawk I'm blaming you." Batty commented. Pipe laugh and we all headed up out of the canopy.
