Tunstall took a kid in.

Made him seem like kin.

He took in hard cases.

Read with them on a daily basis.

He was all these boys had.

He was really rad.

You had to earn your keep.

Faith in the Regulators, he'd take a leap.

Murphy thought those boys stole.

They didn't deserve parole!

Tunstall took his boys to a party for a good time.

For new clothes, he paid more than a dime.

Didn't have time to celebrate New Years

Something happened, the boys feared.

John Tunstall was shot.

The people who did it will rot!

Murphy saw Tunstall as a threat.

For that, Murphy thought John should pay the ultimate debt.
