A/N: I ended up posting these late, because the cousins came to visit for a while, and I had my Nana's surprise party to go to. So, yeah... Take that, deadline! *shakes fist*

Time moves in circles.
Sam is suddenly four years old again, clutching desperately at his big brother's sleeve. Waiting for him to fix it. And Dean wishes he could.
He remembers sleeping in Sam's crib at night, keeping him safe from the monsters he couldn't quite see in the dark. When the only times he would talk at all was to his unknowing, uncomprehending baby brother as he slept.
Dean would make it better if he could, but he can't. So he settles on the next best thing, and tells Sammy that everything's gonna be okay. Even if it's not.
