In the Third Music Room, Tamaki had a special corner reserved just for him. It was a corner in which he could sulk, brood, or pout about his latest rejection or scolding from Haruhi. They called it his Mushroom Corner, and recently Kyouya had a soft chair brought in for the King to sit in while he mulled over depressing thoughts, but Tamaki had politely refused the chair and drew his knees up to his chest while the capped fungi sprouted from his head, shoulders, and back.

On a particular day in April the Host Club decided to throw a party in gratitude of their doting customers, complete with hors d'oeuvres. Unfortunately, the kitchen had long since run out of the mushroom caps needed for the stuffed mushrooms. This is when Kyouya came up with a brilliant idea. He called Haruhi over and whispered something to her. She looked surprised at first, but nodded in agreement.

"Tamaki!"

The Kind had been spinning in circles with joy and eagerly preparing for the celebration, but stopped all motion at the sound of his name. He inclined his head towards the sound to see Haruhi looking rather peeved.

"Tamaki senpai, I want you to know that I am never allowing you to visit my house again! My father doesn't like you and….and I agree with him that it would be best if you didn't come over again. Oh, and I also found out that you sold several photographs of me on the Host Club website and….and I won't speak to you for three days!" she finished awkwardly.

The King was sulking in his corner in a matter of milliseconds. Mushrooms were sprouting out of him at an alarming rate, so quickly that they began to accumulate in a small pile around him as the old ones dropped off and new ones grew in their places. Kyouya smirked, grabbed a small handbasket and selected the best mushrooms for their hors d'oeuvres. He had enough for several baskets full and brought them into the kitchen, where they were prepared.

That day the girls complemented the Host Club extensively, especially on their stuffed mushrooms with their unique flavor. They said that something about them reminded them strongly of Tamaki.
