Beautiful Bride

Lance stood in the waiting room with anticipation as he shuffled his feet. Pidge had offered to show him the wedding dress that she chose for their special day tomorrow and he already felt like it was their wedding day. Excited, nervous, and ready to cry.

He heard a pair of small heels make their way down the hall and he immediately looked over to the door to see his fiancée in all her beauty. As the door opened, his jaw dropped and his eyes prickled with tears of joy.

She was dressed in a silky strapless white gown with a gold necklace hanging across her exposed neck. She had a pair of gold bracelets around each arm and her heels were pearly white, everything about her made Lance want to start crying and he wasn't surprised when he felt a few tears roll down his cheek.

"Save the tears when I walk down the aisle Lance." Pidge said as she walked up to him and gave him a tender kiss on the lips. He kissed back and to him nothing else mattered except for the fact that Pidge was going to be his wife.

When they parted, he gently cupped her cheek in his hand as he gazed into her eyes. "You're absolutely beautiful Pidge. I'm the luckiest guy in the world."

"Stop. You're gonna make me start crying." Pidge chuckled as she leaned forward and rubbed her nose against his. "I'm glad you love the dress. Tomorrow's the big day...we're going to be Husband and Wife."

"I still can't believe you said yes."

"I can't either."

They laughed and kissed again before Pidge stretched out her arms and told him, "I'm gonna go change so we can go get something to eat. I'll be right back."

"Alright. I'll wait here unless you need my help getting out of that dress." Lance teased as he grinned at her.

Pidge rolled her eyes. "You'll never change."

"Yet you still love me."

"I know."

And with that Pidge turned and left to change while Lance looked after the woman he would soon call his wife.
