Chapter 1: rejection

3rd person's pov

Well skipper was a business man, and well everyone respected him that was for sure. He was the highest in the building; the co officer if you will. He had once been in the army with his two best friends, and the love of his life. Private and Rico were the best men he ever trained, and well they departed years ago. About 3 years ago to be exact. Private had left to Hollywood where he could live his dream in the movies.

Rico had left to the middle of the ocean never to return. It is still unknown if he is still alive or not, but Julian insists he has gone into the undercover spy agencies. Skipper himself had gone off to the big corp. world where he became the most famous business man in New York.

Every girl in New York wanted to date him, but he had his eyes only on one girl. The one girl who owns the tiny pet shop in the Westside of town. Her name was Kenize Kowalski. Though he liked to just call her Kowalski as a sign of respect. She was a small girl that was for sure; she didn't own much at all. She wore a simple outfit all the time; nothing she wore was ever fancy, not even her jewelry.

He had always had a simple crush on her when they were together in the army. He had never ever let it slip his lips though it always pained him to see her without him. She preferred to live her life in the small world, but skipper believed he could change that. Today he was going to ask her out once and for all, and no one was going to stop him… or is someone?

H: what do you think of chapter one? There is going to be a lesson in this story for sure…
