"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes! Dammit Mark you're going!"
"I'm a grown man, and I say I'm not going!"
"Yeah, a grown man that's afraid of the dentist!"
Mark and Glenn were arguing once again. This time, Glenn was trying to get Mark to go to the dentist. His brother's tooth had been cracked and giving him problems for a week. Glenn finally couldn't take it anymore and made him an appointment. All he had to do now was get Mark into the office. That part of his plan, however, was not going well.
Mark glared."Take that back!"
"No! You've been a afraid of the dentist ever since we were little. It's time you got over it."
Mark crossed his arms."I'm not going, Glenn."
"Then you leave me no choice."
Mark didn't get a chance to ask him what he meant. Glenn had hit his head with his fist with all of his might. Mark hit the floor, out cold. Glenn stood over him, rubbing his hand.
"Night, night, crazy guy."
Mark groaned as he finally began to come around. He was in an armchair Glenn beside him reading a magazine. His cap was covering his face, so he pulled it straight.
"My head hurts,"Mark groaned."I swear I'll get you for this."
"No you won't."
Glenn pulled out his phone. He pressed a few buttons before placing it against Mark's ear.
Never gonna give you up/Never gonna let you down/Never gonna run around and desert you/Never gonna make you cry/Never gonna say goodbye/Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.
It wasn't the song that got to Mark, it was the fact that it was his voice singing it.
"Now unless you want the world to know that you sing in the shower, you'll go into the dentist office like a good little Deadman."
Mark's grip on the armrest tightened."This is extortion."
"No. It's very very good bribery. When I got it, I thought you were just Rick Rolling me, but you actually like this song."
Mark grumbled and slunk down in his seat. They sat in silence until another doctor came.
"Marcus Calaway."
Glenn stole Mark's hat and nudged him."Go on. Everything will be fine. It's a dentist, what could go wrong?"
Mark groaned and got up. The doctor shook his hand and lead him into a room."I'm Dr. Clark. Your brother said you were a bit nervous about coming, but I assure you we just want to fix your tooth."
"Thanks, Doc."
"You're welcome. Now if you'll have a seat, we can get started."
Mark released a breath of air and sat down in the large chair.
"Well?"Glenn asked when Mark came out."How'd it go?"
"I need a root canal, Glenn. That's what could go wrong."
Glenn blinked."Oops."
