High school who knew time would fly by so fast, I can't say I'm not surprised that briar made it cause I am. Today's our first day I really hope things go alright, especially since their doing this program to transition you in.
Boom the door comes swinging open as briar pushes his way into my room. "Blaise lets go or were gonna be late." Briar says looking at me sternly. "Yea whatever briar its called being patient why don't you try it sometime." I say tucking my diary under my pillow and standing up to go. He rolls his eyes then turns around and walks out the door while I follow close behind.
"See ya mom." We yell together as we leave the house, we walk down the street heading toward the school so we wont be late on our first day of high school. "lets run I bet I can beat you there." Briar says breaking into full speed already knowing the answer. I run and when I catch up we both slow down to a slow jog. We run side by side crossing several streets when out of no where we see a peacock standing on the corner of the street. We both stop and look at it, briar's eyebrows were scrunched up the way they usually get when something weird happens. We turn to look for someone but no one is there, and when we turn back the peacock is gone. We look a each other both wondering where the peacock could have possibly have gone.
