A/N: Okay, so originally I was planning on writing an entire multi-chaptered 'Hey Arnold!' story with a Halloween party and Arnold and Helga and Curly and Rhonda and all of that along with witches and spells and accidents and all of that great stuff, but since Halloween is just tomorrow... Well, I've pretty much run out of time to do something as grand as that. :( So instead, I've decided to just treat you guys to a Halloween 'HA!' poem written especially for the occasion. ;) It WAS going to be the kick-start of the big story I had planned, but yeah... Don't worry, I'll still write it, even if Halloween has long passed by the time I actually get to posting it. XD But for now, you're all just going to have to settle for this... Hope you enjoy. ;)

Happy Halloween! }:D

Disclaimer: I don't own "Hey Arnold!" *Rides off on broomstick*

Halloween

On a day where goblins and ghouls roam the night

And witches and warlocks can't resist taking flight

When the moon is full and the werewolves are howling

And one little pigtailed girl is scowling

When daytime always feels so fleeting

And a football headed kid is just asking for a beating

When the stars may be out, but they offer no light

And one food-loving boy's clothes always fit him so tight

When vampires fangs are the sharpest they can be

And a tall-haired boy is watching 'Pop Daddy' on TV

When magic and spells are alight in the sky

And a little Asian girl is watering her bonsai

When the monsters under your bed become deathly real

And Big Bob Pataki is watching 'The Wheel'

When an evil cackle is echoing across your town

And a red-haired boy is wearing ANYTHING but a frown

When horrid nightmares are all you can dream

And a little third-grade boy can't stop thinking about chocolate ice cream

When Frankenstein's monster is out and about

And Phil is already on his way to getting take out - (Darn watermelons)

When aliens are landing in your backyard

And Oskar is still trying to find his green card

When dolls and murderers become one in the same

And people are still questioning whether Gertie is sane

When you can't help but feel like someone is watching you

And Brainy just got hit over the head with a shoe

When around every corner there's nothing but screams

And Sid is overreacting again and going to extremes

When you're scared out of your witts and run all the way to Montana

And Monkey Man is relaxing and enjoying a banana

When ghosts are released from their graves to wreak fright

And Sheena is dancing in the streets, not the least bit stage fright

When jack o' lanterns are sneering at you from every turn

A country hick is quick to learn...

When black cats eyes are glowing so green

The day can only be referred to as Halloween

And on this night where there's nothing but terror...

Rhonda is having a party, so you'd better be there

A/N: Rather rambly and long, I know, but I wanted to incorporate as many characters from 'Hey Arnold!' as possible. And the last part there... Yeah, well, like I said, this poem was meant to kick-start that long, multi-chapter Halloween story I'd had planned, and in it Rhonda was throwing a big Halloween party. :) I figured this was maybe like the invitation to her party or something... I don't know. But the main point of this was to let you all know that Rhonda is throwing a party in a tasteful and creative way. But I fear I did it in a more long-winded, 'Is it over yet, Mommy?' king of way instead. *Cringes* But whatever. I like it, mostly, and it's Halloweeny, so I'm cool. :D

Hope you enjoyed, and have a happy Halloween everybody! :D :D :D
