Dear Diary,

As always in Harry's life, if anything can go wrong it will, especially on Halloween or Samhain. But his name coming out of the goblet is an order of magnitude different threat. If I hadn't given him my support when his name was called out I don't think he would have moved from that spot at all. When he came back from the meeting he was rather upset and it wasn't unexpected, I would be also if suddenly I am told to take part in an event where people have died before. I am really worried for what is going to happen and from what I spotted I doubt he will be getting much more support from the rest of the school, from support I mean people who would believe in his innocence. The Slytherin will oppose him on principle and the puffs will think that he stole their chance at the spotlight. I hope he survives the tournament without getting hurt too bad.

Dear Diary,

I was right. I don't think there is even one more student who believes him. I came down early for breakfast to gauge the reaction of everyone and from what I can see he will really appreciate not needing to come to the hall for breakfast. I took some toast with me for him and met him when he was leaving the common room. His relief at not needing to go to the great hall for breakfast was heart breaking. I suggested that we take a walk around the lake and the grounds where people are not going to be there. But the entire time he was distracted about something, something more than his name coming out of the goblet. I tried to get him to tell me what was bothering him but "I think he was hurt inside in a way I couldn't figure out."
