A/N: Yeah, I've had a few issues with writer's block recently…and with chemistry and AP testing coming up. I'll try to update more. Here's a one shot that can be interpreted however you want. I'm hoping that it'll help with my block. It's not very long, but then again, it wasn't meant to be. I would like to thank my super awesome amazing best friend of a beta, Misa, for being so super nice and editing a few commas in my fic.

Thoughts of a Forbidden Nature
I suppose I'm morbid. But I really only consider myself a realist. We all die. Some die sooner than others, and some not for a few hundred years. Some of us live to die and some of us die to live. A lot of us steal to live, a few of us live to steal.
Not many people truly love to feel another's life force slowly drain out of them, their eyes glazing over. Those that do cannot stop after a small taste. Usually it is those youkai that were born in the Makai; those that witnessed death and destruction as a normal, everyday occurrence.
Murderers will always be murderers, thieves always thieves, and criminals always criminals. It is a way of life, and it's addictive, much like gambling. Start off early enough, and you drown in it.
The professionals always know when to stop, when to fake innocence and naïveté in order to escape. But if you are good at what you do, you don't need to act. People do not suspect you; you just simply survive, in your way of life, until you die. Because, you know, we all die. Some in different ways than others. But it is inevitable and you cannot escape it. Isn't that right, Gorgeous?
