I woke to the sounds of screeching rufflet and braviary, searching for food in the forests surrounding my home, The Village of Dragons…
Prologue:
My love for Pokémon originated back when I was 3 years old. You see, my dad, Ash Ketchum, started his journey when he was 10, and became a Pokémon master at age 20, I want to go above and beyond that, I'm starting my journey a little late though, at age 13, so I need to be better than him at starting out.
Chapter 1
As I woke up I could already smell breakfast being cooked downstairs, I jumps out of bed in a flash and, though I was still half asleep, managed to get my clothes on without to much trouble. My name is Bodhi, Bodh for short, and today is the day I'm going to start my journey, the day I get my starter Pokémon.
I ran downstairs past my mom, but before I could mget out the door, she grabbed me by the ear. I sweat dropped as she started talking, "Oh no you don't young man, your going to eat a good breakfast whether you want to or not" she told me.
"But mom I need to get my starter Pokémon" I whined.
"I don't care if it's the end of the world! Your going to eat breakfast!" she told me.
I went of to the table and practically sucked up the food so fast, a snorlax would be jealous.
Then before she could even react I ran past her and out the door to the west part of the town, the thing is, I live in the village of dragons, so we get five starters, not three, and they're all dragon types. The village elder passes them on after they hatch in the village caretaker's home, since we raise the starters from eggs. I was busy in thought but stopped running outside the hut, which in my opinion was a palace, the hut was built on ancient ground because at one point in time, this valley that the village is on now was controlled by millions of dragons and their families, as I stood outside the hut you could tell I was a nervous, but yet bursting with excitedness, as I took the first, hesitant step forward it seemed like time was going in slow motion, I reached forward and put my hand on the handle of the door.
