Sometimes Nick really wondered how he got himself into these situations. Then he remembered the girl he was dating could probably qualify for being mentally insane on some days, and shrugged it off. At least each day was a new experience, right? Sometimes a really embarrassing one, but still! Currently Jess was skipping ahead of him like a little kid, her red and white polka dot skirt swirling around long legs cutely. At first she had tried to convince him to skip with her, but that just wasn't going to happen. He was a man, and men don't skip around like 5 year old girls.

"Nick, come on! You're so slow." Jess yelled at him unnecessarily loud from only a few feet ahead. Nick just rolled his eyes to the heavens as every person within a 5 metre radius turned to see what the noise was about. He was used to it.

"Jess, we're just going to get bubble tea, not going to the damn circus so will you calm down already?" His words did nothing to deflate her enthusiasm; she simply hugged his arm and tried to get him to walk faster like that. It didn't really help her case, all that did was make him think about how her breasts were pressed against him so distractingly.

"I know, but none of the other guys wanted to go with me and you said yes so I'm really excited and happy and I love you!" She leaned up to kiss his cheek sweetly, almost tripping over her own feet in the process. Nick's arms shot around her waist automatically to catch her, and of course it was automatic to lean closer to press a soft kiss to those perfect lips. It would have been a perfect moment. If Jess hadn't decided that a giggle-snort was appropriate right now. He couldn't stop the smile that spread over his face as he set her upright and shook his head.

"You're crazy, you know that?" Nick pinched her cheek affectionately. She tilted her head cutely, curly hair framing her pretty features in a way that made his breath catch. That mischievous little grin would be the death of him yet! He just wanted to kiss her all over again.

"But you love me anyways, right?"

It took him a few seconds to respond, he just looked at her for a little while before smiling and looking ahead again.

"Of course."
