Kakashi Hatake was at best a person who didn't take anything from nobody and of course he was like any strict but cool teacher the kind that didn't like it when a kid throws a fit over something as trivial as a paint brush, or losing the clay from an art project. Of course he would give the kid a time-out or dare say it a slap on the butt for good measure, if things really got out of hand. Boy was he in for it at his new job, a kindergarten teacher within a boarding school, not just any boarding school but the elite school for boys and girls called the Konoha Academy. He could instantly remember earlier the conversation he had with the headmistress last night.

Previously for months his been looking for another job, since he had gotten fired from his old job as a kindergarten teacher from Rosewood Elementary tonight was just another day in paradise searching through ad's and multiple job listing sites. Except he heard the phone ring in the living room of course he stops his search and walks over towards the coffee table picking the phone off the receiver.

"Kakashi Hatake speaking and you are..," there was a chuckle on the other end.

"I hear your looking for a new job Kakashi," a women's voice with deep authority said.

"Yeah suppose I am but what do you have in mind?"

"Will you be willingly to be another kindergarten teacher if the chance arrived?"

He thought for a second, of course he wouldn't mind but sometimes having a job with kids can be tiring at most, but it all depends on the kids for that matter.

"Well I wouldn't mind but my strict teachings are very… well how you say disciplinary at best."

"I wouldn't mind at all here at Konoha Academy we tend to have such actions and high standards over our students and well I do want my students to be respectful in the most way possible," as he's listening to her ramble on about students and their grades, he did catch her when she said Konoha Academy. Now why does that sound vaguely familiar? While she's still talking he looks for an ad that he found the other day that had the name of that school somewhere on a newspaper. Ah-h! Kakashi takes a newspaper from the TV stand, and turns it over, the school for the special and elite boys and girls it said in bold lettering. He interrupted the lady before she could continue on about morals and student teaching.

"This school wouldn't happen to be the school for the elite and special?"

There was a long pause before she answered, "Yes would that be a problem?"

"No not really actually it sounds rather interesting to say the least but what grades do you go through?"

"We have pre-k through 4th grade; I know your probably wondering why through those typical grade sections but it's mainly because the board of education said we should have those grades stand as a whole by them selves' cause a lot can happen within those typical grade sections."

"Well I get that, now you said I would be a kindergarten teacher again?"

"Yes that's what I said, good pay and these kids can be rowdy and somewhat troublemakers but their good kids."

"Hmp, I'll do it."

What can it hurt?

"Excellent I would love to see you bright and early in the morning at 8:00 am if you don't mind."

"Sure," as they said their goodbyes and fellow thank you and welcomes. Kakashi sighed inwardly while plopping down on the couch. Well see how this ends? Shall we? He chuckles.

Thinking back he chuckles to himself, well here he is bright and early almost eight within ten minutes or so. He looks around at the building outside he notices it is pretty nice for just a school through grades pre-k -4rth. As he is entering the school building he looks around noticing its features and architect very beautiful in a way but not to good-looking some cracks and such on the bright white walls but of course any school can have cracks every now and then. Everything rushes back to him about little rug rats and overdramatic teachers sighing heavily Kakashi strolls on to the main office just a few feet away near him. Before he is almost near the door a hand taps his shoulder, he turns to see a tall women with gorgeous features, curly dark brown hair and slender body not to mention those bright red eyes.

"Hey you must be Kakashi; my name is Kurenai Yuhi I'm a 2nd grade teacher here at Konoha, Tsunade told me to show you around first before you see her."

"Nice to meet you and Tsunade is?"

"Oh that's right sorry she is the woman you talked to probably last night."

"Ah, yes the headmistress."

"Yep, she can be pretty strict but she means well," they start walking opposite of the main office and come to a stop when they reach the end of the hall with big red doors.

"Behind those doors would be the library but school isn't till 8:45 am so that's the reason on why they are closed," Kakashi nods his head in understanding. Next they manage to turn and walk down another hall but before turning again they come across an opening. Kakashi stands at awe, in this massive space are circle tables all around and smaller ones it looks like for perhaps the little kids, different motivated posters and club posters are plastered around everywhere here and there. The kitchen it seems is in the far back corner, with the restrooms on one side and on the other side two vending machines.

"So I take it this is the cafeteria?"

"Yep you're probably wondering why it's so big."

"I was you'd think it be smaller since this school goes only to 4rth grade."

"That's what I thought when I was hired here but Tsunade said it's because they want lunch time to be somewhat homey in a way so kids don't feel homesick considering this a boarding school and they only go home on holidays and any other off days."

"Well that does make sense, do you like working here?"

"At first I really didn't because I never really had experience in working at boarding schools, but I learned to love it."

"How many years have you been working here?"

"About say 4 years now, not bad eh for someone as old-looking as me?"

"Not bad at all but hey we have to show these kids what's what sometime in life," Kurenai laughs.

"True how many years have you been a teacher?"

"5 for me, started right after college on a student internship in a public elementary school I attended in the past."

"A typical college, scholar….. eh?"

"You could say that," they laugh quietly until Kurenai checks her watch and her eyes widened.

"Crap you still haven't seen the gym or your classroom yet."

"What time is it?"

"8:15."

"Let's go then," Kakashi walks alongside Kurenai as she shows him the classrooms, then the gym, teacher lounge, and later the dorm rooms in which the kids are at outside near the garden and front entrance. About 15 minutes later both are heavily breathing and safe back within the school near the Main office.

"Thanks for showing me Kurenai," Kakashi extends his hand and she shakes it firmly.

"No problem it's what teacher's do for other teachers," she said with a wink.

"True, where will Miss Tsunade be in the main office?"

"Walk in then turn, walk a little ways and you'll see her office on the left side."

"Thanks."

"No problem," and before she leaves she turns back with a smile, "Later on your break you should meet my husband Asuma I have a feeling you to will get along nicely," she winks.

"Sounds like a plan," he waves as she walks back done the hallway turning to the classroom section down a ways. Hm, this seems like it could be a good year perhaps a new change is for best no?
