A cigarette dangles between my lips as I look over at Juudaime appreciating the sunset in front of us. I'm glad I brought him here to see this. It is the duty of the right-hand man to occasionally drag the boss away from the stress, or at least that's what Reborn-san told me.
Two years ago, Juudaime finally took over as boss of the Vongola and has been doing an amazing job. But, due to the amount of paperwork and irresponsibility of the other guardians, it's been very tough on him mentally. So, for this small amount of time, I want to show him this; this haven that I came to as a child.
Juudaime turns away from the sunset and looks at me, a peace coating his eyes as he smiles. "You know, Gokudera-kun, I've never heard you play the piano."
I can feel my face begin to warm up as he mentions this. "It doesn't matter. I haven't played in many years, so I might be a little rusty."
"Gokudera-kun." I feel a hand on my arm. It's Juudaime's and he's looking intense as he leans closer to me, my eyes getting wider as his nose brushes mine. "Promise me that one day you'll play me a song nobody in the world has ever heard. Promise me you'll love me forever."
"I promise," I whisper to him, blushing even more as my boss wraps his arms around me and presses his soft lips against mine. I promise Juudaime that forever I'll be by your side, to play songs nobody can hear, and I'll be by your side. I promise to give you my world and expect nothing in return.
I promise to be your right-hand man for the rest of eternity.
