Alix awakens to her armor broken, and her gun disabled, with no recollection of what happened to lead to her passing out, She limps through a ditch in search of Ghost, Alix only sees cabal warships in flight around the last city, even cabal tanks on the street, she soon finds Ghost as he's looking for Alix. Ghost recovers Alix, and whispers to her "Alix, if you die, I can't resurrect you. Our light, it's been taken away" said ghost. Alix nodded her head and dredged onward, The Last City, and everything else she knew as a guardian was left behind as she left the cracked and broken walls of the city. Ghost says, weakily "We need to get away, Guardian, if I don't make it, I'm glad I picked you to be my guardian". Alix nods and says "We can do this, we just need to keep going". The trek continues for 2 days. Ghost and Alix stumble upon a guardian encampment, bodies of lightless guardians, executed by the cabal are strewn around the camp, Alix finds an old gun on one of the bodies, and takes it to defend her, and Ghost. She continues onwards, fighting all the cabal that gets in her way, they make it to the Twilight Gap, now up to 10 days after the attack. Ghost has recovered, Alix is on the brink of death, She has no light, Ghost has no light, if She dies, she can't come back. Alix manages to fashion some reinforcement for her tattered armor from deceased cabal. Ghost is keeping her healthy, or trying to at least. Alix climbs a nearby mountain, as she hears Guardians fighting over the crest of the mountain, She has some hope that there are others remaining after the cabal invasion of the Last City. She straps her gun to her waist, and starts to climb, she reaches the peak, and slips. Alix wakes up minutes later, after the fight is over, she opens her eyes to see a Titan and Warlock before her, she can't make out who it is, but she can tell by the armor that they're friendly. They help Alix up, and take her over to their camp
