Sup? Lily, here, and I'm writing my first one-shot! This is Rin x Len, and based off of a song that Gabby kept reccomending. Miracle of Life will be taking a while, though, so here is something to soothe your soul.

I woke up in my room, a tiny one in the back of the top floor. Nobody ever bothered entering the room, nobody even asked. I went and looked in the mirror, but inside the dusty old mirror was, instead, a boy reflected.
"Listen, I am a magician" he said. I looked on with disbelief. "And wishes are my specialty" he smiled at me, and I wondered how I felt. And it seemed all the wheels and gears of fate began to turn starting that day. And I wondered if I could really call the magician mirror boy my first "friend". I hesitantly placed my hand on the mirror over his and it all began to flow.
"Won't you please say my name?" I asked. From the fingers touching mine, I could hear his voice for the first time. Overflowing me with such feelings, I couldn't stop the tears from falling. If only we could stay like this forever. Inside an isolated world, I just hoped I could meet someone else. Until the day I finally felt the warmth of his hand.
The magician boy granted all my wishes, how generous he was. I hadn't been able to walk as of recently, he fixed that all for me. Even the war that seemed to never end, he stopped. And I couldn't have been any happier as our laughter filled the room. When I was little, I shared the same dream as all the others, to be a princess. I wanted a beautiful castle, and I would own it all. I even planned out every detail, how every room and hall should be. I guess it's no surprise now, that it's all a reality.
And the magician boy granted every single thing that ever appeared in my dreams. But still it felt so incomplete, there was one last thing still missing. And it was something only he could give - a special kind of "magic". And we promised, not letting go of each other's hands.
"Would you please stay here with me?" I asked. And if only we could stay together that way forever. There was nobody else it could be, it had to be him. And that's why I begged him "Please, can you stay here 'till I fall asleep? Because when I close my eyes I'll be all alone, I only want to hear you say my name, so until that tine will come, I hope you know, I'll be here waiting for you."
The magic that he cast would not always last. Everything I dreamed will return to the way it was.
"And now I have to go," said the magician boy.
"Please don't go just yet!" I pleaded.
"The magic is fading away" he replied. "So let us bid each other farewell"
"I won't say goodbye!" I pushed. And the tears began to rush down my cheeks again.
"And now I beg of you, please do not cry" the boy soothed.
"Please don't leave my side!" I cried.
-LEN POV-
In the world through the mirror, everything is in reverse. Though our destinies were connected, they shouldn't have intersected. Everything I gave her was only given to repay. Another side of life I've come to see, I won't forget the times she was sad or happy.
"And in return I want you to promise me" I told her. "That I will always be.."
"Within your memories"
-RIN POV-
The mirror shattered. I screamed for him,
"But if you could only stay, I would tell you it's okay. Even if you have no magic, I really don't need any of it!" I was hoping that right there, maybe he would reappear. I fixed and polished the old mirror, hoping that once again I'd have him right by my side. "No matter how much time may pass me by, I promise that I'll always be.."
"Waiting for you..."
