A/N: This will probably be horrible but I'm giving it my best shot.
Lena was a student of Carter and Sadie, following the path of the goddess Emutet, the Egyptian goddess of agriculture. Lena went to a different school than the other initiates though. She went to Goode High School in New York City. She was really quiet, and she had only a couple of friends. Her best friend's name was Katie Gardener. She hung out with Katie a lot, but never over the summer. Lena would often ask Katie where she went over the summer, but Katie's answer was always "Camp". Lena didn't quite believe her because Katie always seemed to come back to school each year with new scars, and whenever Lena would ask her about them, Katie would change the subject. Lena always accepted this until one day, she didn't. And that changed everything.
