Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ I haven't updated in forever! Well, I was kind of in a huge writers block for a few months and got out of it a few weeks ago and I'm just getting around to typing stuff up now XD Last night, I finished watching all four parts of Soul Eater, and fell in love with SoulXMaka. So, without further due, a fanfiction!
I slowly sat up, yawned, and looked around the room. It was the third time this week I had fallen asleep in Soul's room. We were quizzing each other on the test the next day when my eyes started to get droopy and my head found its way to his chest. He smiled at me and wrapped his arm around my waist, and whispered 'Good night, Maka" in my ear. We've been partners for as long as I can remember, and dating for the past 4 and a half years. Blair was the one to truly spill the beans about us, though. She saw us kissing on the couch and told our entire team about it. Let's just say they still poke fun at us about it.
I brushed a bit of his hair out of his face and checked the clock, 5 o'clock. The test started at 7, thank god, we still needed to study. I lightly pushed him back and forth, "Soul, wake up. We have to study." He popped open his eyes and smiled at me.
"Mornin'," He lazily sat up and pecked my lips, "How'd you sleep?"
"Pretty well, actually." I replied happily. I glanced over to a photo taken when we first became partners on his side table. I picked it up and smiled, "Look Soul, we were so young!" He laughed a bit and ran his fingers through my hair.
"I remember that day so well," He said with a soft sigh. I rested my head on his shoulder, "Hey, don't we have to study 'er something?" I set the picture back down and grabbed a large book.
"Correct. Now, what shall we work on first?"
"Maka, do we really have to study? It's just another stupid test."
"Yes, we do," I tried my best to stay serious, "Or I'll take your soul." He grinned at me softly.
"It won't make much of a difference; you've already taken my heart." I couldn't help but smile at his cheesy remark.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Maka."
