This is slash, meaning two men paired together romantically. Don't like, don't read. I don't own Harry Potter or any other characters/places/things in the Harry Potter fandom.

I wrote this for a thirty minute challenge live journal group.. Enjoy the fluff!

"Vault 954," the goblin announced monotonously. Percy frowned to no one in particular; he was no fan of goblins. But, there was no way to avoid them when it came to Gringott's, he told himself mentally and his frown deepened.

Percy nodded his thanks to the disliked creature and stepped out of the carriage just as he heard another approaching. Last thing he wanted was to be victim in a carriage accident with two goblins.

He retrieved the key with the matching vault number and found himself pondering Oliver's words from the night before.

"Go to my Gringott's vault tomorrow morning." Oliver handed Percy his key. "There's something in there I want you to see"

Before Percy could question his lover's words, Oliver had apparated out of sight for a late night Quidditch practice.

Percy ran over every scenario he could fathom, yet could not produce a decent explanation. Giving Percy all of his money was out of the question, unless he was making a run from the law because he murdered his mother. But even then wouldn't Oliver empty his vault himself and live his life as an outlaw without someone else in possession of his money?

Percy sighed and decided that the only way to find out was to open the bloody vault.

So he did.

Inside, apart from the somewhat large pile of gold he had acquired from being on the Quidditch team, was a single, lonely, purple box. Percy blinked at it. "There's something in there I want you to see."

Percy was there, and he was seeing what Oliver wanted him to see. Should he open it? Surely Oliver didn't send him all this way just to look at a nicely wrapped box.

But then again, it was Oliver; he was a bit of a kook. All Quidditch players were.

Percy decided to open it. He untied the purple ribbon carefully and pulled the lid off. There was a letter and another tiny box inside. He picked up the letter and saw that there were only several words written on it.

What a waste of parchment. His eyes skimmed over the parchment and they widened immediately, for the words that wasted so much parchment read: "Will you marry me, Percy?"

He opened the tiny box and a single, perfect ring sat gleaming at him

Percy heart did a pleasant somersault and his ears reddened to the colour of his flaming red hair.

"Well, will you?" a familiar voice questioned from behind. Percy smiled, his heart in serious danger of melting, and turned to face the love of his bloody life.

"Of course I will, Oliver," he whispered. Oliver grinned and captured Percy's lips in a kiss even more amazing than their first. "Did you even have to ask?"
