Daniels eyes shot open like a predators at the familiar sound and he swore the jaws theme sounded in the background as he slowly turned over in the bed. It was still dark, probably about 2 maybe 3 in the morning, but Bries face was light up by her phone screen.

Sweet

"Are you seriously playing candy crush?" He asked through clenched teeth. Brie had become addicted to the stupid game and could never put it down long enough to do anything but this was a first for her.

"I'm stuck on this level and I can't sleep until its finished or it'll bug me." She said not taking her eyes off the screen. Her obsession hit a whole new level and Daniel cringed as he listened to the annoying sounds of clicking, popping and sweet.

"Brie, honey, darling, sugarplum," he began in an irritated tone. "Put that goddamn phone down before I flush it down the toilet." He said hoping to regain the sleep he was losing due to her addiction .

"Just one more level!" She insisted as her fingers swiped quickly across the screen and tortured him with the annoying voice that accompanied it. Daniel tried to ignore it as he laid on his side but it was that damn voice.

"Brie put it down!"Daniel snapped turning quickly and Bries eyes left the screen momentarily to look at him. "Its three in the goddamn morning and it can wait! If I have to listen to your phone tell me how sweet your doing for another second I'm going to football punt it out of the window and buy you a phone that can't get candy crush!" He said frustrated and watched as Brie slowly began to inch her phone to the bedside table, eyes locked on Daniels as she did so.

"Sorry." Was all she muttered to him before sliding back down into bed. Daniel turned onto his side with a contented smile as he closed his eyes and fell into a fitfull sleep.

Sweet

The word rang in his head as he tossed and turned. Suddenly he found himself in some sort of candy crush jungle running for his life as coloured balls rolled after him intent on crushing him while the voice laughed maniacly in the background at his despair.

Daniel shot up from the bed in a sweat and was surprised to find it was morning. He rubbed his groggy eyes as he swung his legs over the side of the bed and thought back to his dream. Enough was enough. When he started having nightmares about a game it was time for her to quit.

"Brie we need to talk." He said walking into the kitchen.

Sweet

Daniel felt something inside him snap as he walked over and snatched the phone from her hands.

"Hey!" Brie protested trying to snatch her phone back.

"What is the point of this god forsaken game? Its pointless and dumb!" Daniel yelled and Brie noticed the crazed look in her fiances eyes as he cracked a smile.

"Where are you going with my phone?!" She asked alarmed before getting up and following him.

"I'm going to show you what's really sweet." He said lookin g back at her with a crazed smile as he headed into the garage. He got in his car much to Bries protests and backed out onto the road. Brie watched horrified as he tossed her phone in front of his car out if the driver side window.

"Daniel don't you dare!" She yelled as she made an attempt to go retrieve it. But Daniel put his foot on the gas, the wheels screeching against the pavement and the phone soon disappeared under his front tire. Brie heard the crack of her phone under the pressure.

"What the hell did you do that for?!" She demanded once he parked his car with a satisfied smile.

"I wanted to play candy crush with my car. I think I won." He said smiling as he walked back into the house.
