Chapter 1=the quest begins
It was a snowy winter night in blackthorn city .A boy and a girl were going to turn ten in the morning and get their first Pokémon, but before that they were discussing their parents about what they wanted to become. "well volant have you decided on what you want to be?"Asked Volant's father Derrick. "well I want to be a dragon master like you and mom" replied touya" good choice touya "said his mother Clair."And what about you Kari" asked derrick."I want to become a Pokémon coordinator."What but you're supposed to be a dragon tamer two" said Clair. Looking shocked"Now now Clair let Kari decide for herself" said derrick. "Fine now get ready for bed kids" said Clair. "alright but can you tell us a story dad" said Volant."Ok but only one alright" replied derrick. "Ok" said Kari. "Witch story do you want to hear" asked derrick. "how about the one of your own journey through unova and how you met kyurem there" said. "but that's going to take all night" derrick and Clair protested". "well were not sleepy" said the kid's together. "fine this is how it started" said derrick.
MANY YEARS AGO
It was a warm summer day. A boy of about 14 years old was waking up from bed. "Derrick wakeup today's when you start you're going to start your journey"."Ok mom" said derrick. "I'm going to pack your thing's downstairs'" said his mother. "Ok mom I'll get dressed and come down" replied derrick. "Hurry up" his mother said and went out of his room. After washing up and getting dressed derrick said "Time tome wake up dratini" and he looked at the side of his bed. There was a dratini fast asleep. Derrick shook it to wake it up. "Come on dratini today's the day" said derrick. The dratini woke up and gave him a hug "tini it said as she hugged him. Dratini was a gift from lance. Apparently derricks father and lance had been rival's when they were children. Dratini had been born from lance's dragonite at the same moment that derrick was born thus forming a psychic bond with him. Ever since they met they have been the best of friend's.
Derrick went down to eat breakfast. There his parent's were waiting for him. "today's the day eh kiddo" said his father."Yeah dad" replied derrick."Have you chosen which region you're going to?"Asked his mother. "well I thought about and I'm going to go to unova." Said derrick. "Alright and good luck on your journey said his parents."And dratini take good care of him on his journey he can be forgetful at times" said his mother. "Tini "said dratini agreeing. "Well goodbye you two" said derrick to his parents. "goodbye" they said together.
"Alright dratini let the journey begin" said derrick excitedly. "tini" said dratini happilly
