He loved her glasses – it made her look sophisticated and framed her delicate features. Shunsui always hated when people under his command, or anyone for that matter, called Nanao ugly with her glasses on. They could not comprehend that she was an intelligent beauty.
Her glasses brought out her eyes and contrasted against her pale skin.
But, he had always wondered, what did she look like without them? Would she be even more beautiful or (heaven forbid) less?
A part of him could not picture his Nanao without glasses and yet he felt his curiosity rising and getting the better of him.
He would ask her to take them off someday. Hopefully, (but probably she wouldn't, knowing her ice cold demeanor and sharp tongue) she would.
But, with or without the glasses, she would be his beautiful, kirei, Nanao-chan.
