Percy and I were dueling in a clearing in the forest.
Our feet were snapped twigs as we circled and dove at each other.
"You. Are. Going. Down!" I said as I vigorously stabbed at his torso.
"Not in your dreams!" Percy feinted left and as I swung he tripped me. As I fell back I grabbed the front of his bright Camp t-shirt and he unexpectantly fell back with me.
Percy was now on top of me and our swords were at least five yards away. He was literally crushing me with his weight. At first, I thought I was at the disadvantage until I remembered I still had my dagger in my pant leg.
"Forfeit. I won."
"Never."
"Well, then while you're in this very unlucky position I think I'll take advantage of it."
He said mischievously. He kissed me softly on the lips.
Here was my chance.
"Fine by me." I lied. I wrapped my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck and started kissing him more passionately. I reached down with one hand and took my dagger out of the strap on my leg. He let down his guard ever so slightly. With all my force I flipped him over so that I was sitting on top of his stomach.
"Ha!" I yelled triumphantly. My dagger was at his throat.
"Hey! That was so cheating!" At first he had been confused but now he was angry.
"No. That's called strategic planning." I said with a grin.
"You have a very devious mind, Wise Girl."
"Thank you Seaweed Brain, but I'm still waiting for your forfeit." I pressed the dagger harder into his neck, more for emphasis, because it wouldn't hurt him anyways.
Percy sighed dramatically.
"Okay, okay. Annabeth you won." He said "won" like a dirty word.
"Thank you. Now," I said mocking him in my best Percy-like voice.
"While you are in this very unlucky position I think I'll take advantage of it."
He grinned and sea green eyes twinkled.
"You know what, that's perfectly fine by me."
