They lay in each other's arms, his arms wrapped around Rober's waust while the other's head was tucked under his chin and he was able to press s face into soft colen strands. They'd beel like that for a half or or so, neither willing to move, to break away and remind themselves (and the other) that this wasn't a dream, that they were living in the real world and things would eventually fall apart as they always did.
"We can't be like this forever." Rober mumbles softly, even though James could feel eyelashes fluttering closed against his bare skin.
"I know," he whispered again, "but let's live in the lie for just a little longer."
