DISSOLUTION OF THE STATE FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRUSSIA

We here, as the victors of the Second World War, officially dissolve the state of Prussia, hereby known as the accused, for his part in the slaughter of millions of innocent people, the continuation of the Nazi party in Germany, and the training of the Axis Powers. The accused was warned in advance by one of our own to abandon his fellow Axis Power, Germany. The accused refused and now stands before the Allied Powers to be punished for his crimes. The accused shall have his statehood removed from him no longer qualifying him as a country. We, signed below, find this a fitting punishment and agree with any negative effects that may be caused to the accused.

Matthew Williams almost sobbed when the document stopped at him. All of the other countries had already signed it. 'How could they?' He asked himself. Everyone knew what happened to a country when it dissolved. The Representation died. Tears sprang to his eyes. This was his fault. If he had looked behind him he would have seen his brother following him to the Axis hide out. Alfred called in reinforcements as soon as he saw where Matthew was headed. The Allies saw him as a hero, but he felt like a traitor. He could still remember the smiles they flashed at him before terrible betrayed looks replaced them. He even saw one now. Gilbert Belishmidt, the Representation of Prussia, wouldn't meet his eyes and a disgusted grimace marred his face whenever he was forced to. And Matthew knew what that meant. Even if Gilbert survived Matthew will still have lost the only true friend he had ever had, and the only lover. Matthew's hand shook as he lowered the pen to the paper. For the first time since they had entered Gilbert looked him in the eye of his own free will. Violet met crimson and crimson orbs screamed a challenge.

"Do it," said the battered and bloody man kneeling on the floor, "kill me. This vas your plan vasn't it Birdie. Ich dich sowieso nie geliebt." Matthew knew enough German to understand what Gilbert had said to him. He gasped and a tear fell onto the paper.

"Come on Mattie get it over with." His brother said from the end of the table. Matthew again touched the pen to the paper and this time signed his name. Gilbert screamed out in pain and Matthew cried shamelessly. Francis brought his chair to sit next to the boy. He gathered the shaking Canadian into his arms and stroked his hair. Francis watched as his old friend thrashed on the floor screaming. He buried his hands into Matthew's golden locks as the albino man went silent.
