King Bowser Koopa. A name many fear and even respect to an extent. His reign has ruled supreme among the Koopa, and has brought times of despair to many other Kingdoms, including the Mushroom Kingdom.
It is a known fact that King Bowser has tried his hardest to conquer this small, diminutive Kingdom. For what reasons is yet to be known, but many sources indicate that if he should ever succeed to empower the Toad people, then his reign would ave been expanded in terms of territorial ownership.
It was in 1955 when the united Koopa Federation planned to meet ends to their problems. The people were in need of a fresh start after facing extermination by their peers in other Kingdoms. Food was scarce, water was polluted, and the Koopa population were dimishing at an alarming rate. The lands were decaying, for the sewer system was damaged and the Federation lacked the funds to repair it.
In 1970, a young Koopa named Bowser met with the Federation and proposed a deal: If he should find a way to rescue their people from its fate, then he would be candidate to become the Federation's newwest spokesman. The council decided to talk over this in a private meeeting, to see who this Bowser feller was.
It came out that Bowser was in fact, a member of royalty. Prince Bowser Koopa was raised in the western side of the Koopa Kingdom, were the pollution had yet to be detected. Furthermore, it seemed that this young reptile had the prowress of a General, creating strategies and finding ways to overcome big obstacles. The council decided to give Prince Bowser a chance to prove his word.
Two months later, Prince Bowser began an expensive plan to repair the sewing system on his own. His family funds were all spent into repairing the system, and providing new pipelines to re-route the sewage system. 3 years passed, and the Kingdom started to receive fresh water from the rivers up north, using Bowser's new sewage system. This gave the population new hopes in continuing their life. The council was impressed, and in 1974, Bowser was a new spokesman for his people.
Bowser began the reconstruction of schools, neighborhoods, and hospitals. The more he contributed, the more people adored him. The council grew pleased with his actions, and accepted him a sa Prime Minister for the country. This were of course, stepping stones for Bowser to unravel his true intentions behind his generosity.
In 1975, Bowser revoked all the members of the council, calling them weak and frail, deciding that it was them who brought the country into its poor state. The Koopa population roared in agreement, and exiled all the members into the wastelands, never again allowing their presence in the country. Prince Bowser proclaimed himself a King, and thus, began his reign in a newly-formed Kingdom.
In 1979, King Bowser built a colossal army with his new power. He lured the people of Koopa into believing that the outside Kingdoms were also to blame for its troubles. King Bowser began moving forward to conquer these Kingdoms.
Many fell to the TroopKoopa, their defenses weak against King Koopa's majestic power, and in 1983, his eyes were set into a small area called the Mushroom Kingdom. This was to be the only target left in his tyranical quest, and knew aforehand that it could not stand a chance against his army.
Indeed, the kingdom fell immediatly, and Bowser took over. He then kidnapped Princess Peach, and locked her in his castle, leaving the Mushroom Kingdom hopeless. By the end of the year, the kingdom was nothing more than ashes, and Bowser was proud.
In 1985 however, the Mushroom Kingdom seeked foreign aid into rescuing what was left of their country. King Bowser confronted these allies known as the Mario Brothers. And lost.
