A Slave to the Bradys
By Joe
Summary: Alice is frustrated that the housework is put upon her. This is from Alice's point of view. Blank Verse.
I am very angry right now.
The Bradys took me in as a live-in maid.
And then they put all the work upon me.
I never had a problem with helping out with a chore or two.
But what really got me mad was…Mrs. Brady.
She doesn't do any work around the house.
She doesn't have a job.
She doesn't have any hobbies.
She's got plenty of time to help out.
So why am I stuck with all the work?
Mrs. Brady thinks she can hire me for free
And then do very little to help me out around the house.
That just cans it.
If I were married, I wouldn't work for Mrs. Brady anymore.
I'm tired and sick of being unappreciated.
Why won't she at least help out with a chore or two?
Why?
The End
